Jun 20, 2008 Compassion in Action asks you to join us in support of Susan Nabukenya. Susan is a 14-year-old Ugandan girl who arrived in Boston in early May 2008 for life-saving plastic surgery at Boston Shriners. Four years ago Susan was burned from her chest to her toes when she stepped too close to a cooking fire and her kerosene-stained dress ignited. She has lived with burn contractures and open wounds since then and has been forced to drop out of school. She had lost all hope. Until now. Join us as we journey with Susan towards a brighter future. To follow Susan's story, go to http://www.teamsusansstory.blogspot.com/.
